Steps to Cut Your Grocery Bill

1. Start a Little Bit at a Time
Start small with 1 store at first, learn how to work the deals at that store and then move on to the next store after you have store #1 mastered.

2. Throw Your Brand Loyalty Out the Window!
You must be open to trying new products and new brands. In order for the great deals to work you need to have an “open mind”.  Cutting your grocery bill will work but only if you let it.

3. Gather Coupons (without them you won’t get the great deals)
Never fear!  When you are a brand new couponer you may see deals that you can’t take advantage of due to not having the right coupons.  But after a few short weeks of coupon collecting you will see great deals that in which you can take advantage.

4. Shop to Stock Up, Not Just for the Week
You are going to start buy shopping the circulars ads.  When doing this you are going to look for the best sales prices for an item and then you are going to match a coupon to that item to make the sale even better.  When an item is available at a SUPER low price that is the time that you need to be stocking up.  (Buy 3 to 5 of the item to have a stockpile until the price drops again)  Stockpiling is the key to saving money.

5. Research and Use Websites that Break Down the Deals for You.
Many websites have lists of stores that you choose from and the deals, coupons, and the what to use when are all broken down for you.  This makes a shopping list very simple.

6. Have Fun!
At the beginning of your "adventure" you may get a little stressed with all the new things that you are learning. That is why you need to look at stockpiling, coupon cutting and deal shopping as fun!  If you look at it that way you are much more likely to continue this great couponing "adventure" and save TONS of money.
